Overall, our experience with Dan and the Glennwood team was exceptional. There are a few things that stand out to me. First, the Glennwood team meshed really well with our architectural team, Al and Parker Platt. Dan’s insight on costs and materials helped round out the design process to help us make good decisions up front. So having Glennwood involved during the design process ended up being a real plus. Second, the quality of the Glennwood subcontractors was exceptional – especially the highly visible work like trim carpentry, millwork, cabinetry and painting/staining. That said, the stuff you don’t readily see was also outstanding – like foundation, framing and HVAC. Third, the commitment of the Glennwood people to exceptional quality, personal service and highly detailed follow up is candidly, astounding. I’ve spent three-plus decades of a career in consumer products and services and I’ve not seen much that’s comparable (“Nordstrom-level” you might say). While the homebuilding experiences of so many of our friends have resulted in strained relationships with their builders that neither party can wait for it to end, our relationship with Glennwood continues well post completion, and I speak frequently with multiple members of the Glennwood team, many of whom I consider friends. As a result, I would highly recommend Glennwood to anyone.
