Dan Collins, Owner/President

Dan brings a fresh insight and unique perspective to the home building industry that has proven to be very valuable. He has a background in the automotive engineering industry and, through a series of promotions, has held such positions as Product and Applications Engineer, Purchasing Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt and Divisional Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Dan graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.

“I grew up swinging a hammer in our family construction business. Though I chose to pursue an engineering career, I always had the notion that I’d eventually get back to my roots. Designing and building a manufacturing assembly line requires extreme planning, scheduling, and quality control to achieve a sound and robust product. Building a custom home should be no different. Outside of work, Dan maintains a passion for the outdoors. He takes full advantage of the recreational activities the Asheville area, the Appalachian Mountains, and surrounding National Forests offer. Hiking, back country camping, mountain biking, boating, and kayaking are among his favorites.
